Boatman

Oh, the boatman dance and the boatman sing
The boatman do most anything
When the boatman comes on the shore
He spends all his money and he works for more

*Hi-ho the boatman goes
Up and down the river on the O-hi-o
Hi-ho the boatman goes
Up and down the river on the O-hi-o*

Ever seen where the boatman lives?
It's a house on a hollow that leaks like a sieve
Boatman says if he had one wish
If he gets any wetter he'd be a fish

*Chorus*

Black Socks

Black socks
They never get dirty
The longer you wear them
The stronger they get

Sometimes
I think I should wash them
But something keeps telling me
Oh, no, not yet

Billboard Song

As I was walking down the street one dark and dreary day
I came upon a billboard sign and much to my dismay
The sign was torn and tattered from the storm the night before
The wind and rain had done it's work and this is what I saw:
Smoke Coca-Cola cigarettes, chew Wrigley's Spearmint beer,
Kennel Ration dog food makes your wife's complexion clear
Simonize your baby with a Hershey's candy bar, and
Texaco's the beauty cream that's used by all the stars
So take your next vacation in a brand new Frigidaire
Play a Hammond Organ in your Damart underwear
Doctors say that babies should smoke until they're three
And people over sixty-five should bathe in Lipton Tea.

Beetles and the Bedbugs

I woke up Sunday morning
And there upon the wall
The beetles and the bedbugs
Were having a game of ball
The score was six to nothing
The beetles were ahead
The bedbugs hit a home run
And knocked me out of bed

*Singing eeny meeny and a miny mo
Catch a bedbug-bedbug by the toe
And if he hollers hollers hollers, let him go
Sing eeny meeny and a miny mo*

I went downstairs for breakfast
I had some ham and eggs
I ate so many pickles
The juice ran down my legs

*Chorus*

I've never been to Harvard
I've never been to Yale
The only place I've ever been
Is good ol' County Jail.

*Chorus*

Beaver Song

Beaver one
Beaver all
Let's all do the beaver crawl
Ch-ch-ch-ch-ch-ch-ch-ch-ch

Beaver two
Beaver three
Let's all climb the beaver tree

Beaver four
Beaver five
Let's all do the beaver dive

Beaver six
Beaver seven
Let's all fly to beaver heaven

Beaver eight
Beaver nine
Stop! It's beaver time!

Go beavers
Go beavers
Go beavers

Be Kind to Your Web-footed Friends

Be kind to your web-footed friends
For a duck may be somebody's mother
Be kind to your friends in the swamp
Where the weather is always damp
You may think that that's the end
Well it is!

Bazooka Bubble Gum

My mom gave me a penny
She said go buy a hen-y
But I didn't buy a hen-y
Instead I bought bubble gum
Bazooka zooka bubble gum
Bazooka zooka bubble gum

My mom gave me a nickel
She said go buy a pickle...

My mom gave me a dime
She said go buy a lime...

My mom gave me a quarter
She said go buy some water...

My mom gave me a dollar
She said go buy a collar...

My mom gave me a five
She said go stay alive
But I didn't stay alive
Instead I choked on bubble gum
Bazooka zooka bubble gum
Bazooka zooka bubble gum

Banjo Song

I u-lu-lused to play-lay-lay
On my-ly-ly banjo-lo-lo
But my-ly-ly banjo-lo-lo
Was bro-lo-lo, lo-loke.

So I to-loo-loke it to-loo-loo
The ba-la-lanjo sho-lo-lop,
but the Ba-la-lanjo sho-lo-lop
Was clo-lo-lo, lo-losed.

So I too-loo-loke it to-lo-lo
Ano-lo-lother pla-lay-lace
To see-lee-lee what they-lay-lay
Could do-loo-loo, loo-loo.

They fil-li-lixed the stri-li-lings
On my-ly-ly banjo-lo-lo
And now-low-low it’s goo-loo-lood
As new-lew-lew, lew lew.

Bananas of the World

Did somebody say bananas?

Bananas of the world unite!
Peel bananas
Peel, peel bananas
Peel bananas
Peel, peel bananas
Shake Bananas
Shake, shake bananas
Shake bananas
Shake, shake bananas
Go bananas
Go, go bananas
Go bananas
Go, go bananas
Bananas of the world, unite!

Banana Song

Little Miss Muffet, Muffet
Sat on her tuffet, tuffet
Eating her curds and whey
Along came a spider, spider
Sat down beside her, 'side her
And frightened Miss Muffet away.

*And you push the damper in
And you pull the damper out
And the smoke goes up the chimney just the same
Have a banana.
Star of the evening
Shining on the cookhouse door
Star of the evening
And the smoke goes up the chimney just the same
Have a banana.*

Little Jack Horner, Horner
Sat in a corner, corner
Eating his Christmas pie
Stuck in his thumb, his thumb
And pulled out a plum, a plum
And said, "What a good boy am I"

*Chorus*

Baby Duck

Wasn't it a bit of luck
That I was born a baby duck
With yellow socks and yellow shoes
So I may go wherever I choose.
Quack.
Quack.
Quack, quack, quack
Yay! Ducks!

Australian Rugby Song

Aussie, Aussie, Aussie
Oy, Oy, Oy
Aussie, Aussie, Aussie
Oy, Oy, Oy
Aussie
Oy
Aussie

Aussie, Aussie, Aussie
Oy, Oy, Oy.

Auntie Monica

Oh, I have an auntie
An Auntie Monica
And when we go a-shopping
They all say oh-la-la
Because her feather's swaying
Her feather's swaying so
Because her feather's swaying
Her feather's swaying so...

Hat
Muffet
Skirt
Auntie

Apple Picking Time

It's apple picking time in Orange, New Jersey
We'll make a peach out of a pear.
You cantaloupe in my banana wagon
Or you'll mango your toes
Squash!

Animal Fair

I went to the animal fair
The birds and the beasts were there
The big baboon by the light of the moon
Was combing his auburn hair
The monkey he got drunk
And slid down the elephant's trunk
The elephant sneezed and fell on his knees
And what became of the monkee monkee monkee...

Angels and Devils

3 little angels all dressed in white
Tried to get to heaven on the end of a kite
But the kite string broke and down they all fell
Instead of going to heaven they all went to...

2 little angels all dressed in white...

1 little angel all dressed in white
Tried to get to heaven on the end of a kite
But the kite string broke and down she fell
Instead of going to heaven they all went to...

3 little devils all dressed in red
Tried to get to heaven on the end of a thread
But the thread it broke and down they all fell
Instead of going to heaven they all went to...

2 little devils...

1 little devil...

3 little witches all dressed in black
Tried to get to heaven in an old Cadillac
But the Cadillac broke and down they all fell
Instead of going to heaven they all went to...

2 little witches...

1 little witch...

3 little Girl Scouts all dressed in green
Tried to get to heaven from the top of a latrine
But the latrine seat broke and down they all fell
Instead of going to heaven they all went to...

2 little Girl Scouts...

1 little Girl Scout all dressed in green
Tried to get to heaven from the top of a latrine
But the latrine seat broke and down they all fell
Instead of going to heaven they all went to bed!

Alligator

*Alligator,
Alligator
Can be your friend
Can be your friend
Can be your friend too*

An alligator is my friend
He can be your friend too
But what you have to understand
Is he has feelings too.

*Chorus*

An alligator's always green
He never sings the blues
I'd rather wear him on my shirt
Than have him for my shoes.

*Chorus*

An alligator ate my friend,
He can eat your friend too
But what you have to understand
Is he eats dinner too.

*Chorus*

All God's Critters

*All God's critters got a place in the choir
Some sing low
Some sing higher
Some sing out loud on the telephone wire
And some just clap their hands, or paws (or wings or claws),
Or anything they got now*

Listen to the bass it's the one on the bottom
Where the bullfrog croaks and the hippopotamus
Moans and groans with a big to do
And the old cow just goes "moo"

*Chorus*

Dogs and cats they make up the middle
Where the honeybee hums and the cricket fiddles
The donkey brays and the pony neighs
And the old coyote howls.

*Chorus*

Listen to the top where the little birds sing
On the melody, with the high notes ringing
The old crow hollers over everything
And the jaybird disagrees.

*Chorus*

Singing in the nighttime singing in the day
The little duck quacks and he's on his way
The possum ain't got much to say
And the porcupine talks to himself

*Chorus*

It's a simple song of living that's sung everywhere
By the ox and the fox and the grizzly bear
The grumpy alligator and the hawk above
The sly raccoon and the turtledove.

*Chorus*

Ain't no flies on us

There ain't no flies on us.
There ain't no flies on us.
There might be flies on __________'s table
But there ain't no flies on us.
